The developments in chaos and complexity in recent years, plus the remarkable work of Stephen Wolfram, have enabled us to develop a theory and an understanding of changes in behavior of both groups of individuals and of individuals themselves.
One part of this website was developed in 2012, based on our book, Making Social Change, to present this theory primarily concerned with groups. It includes a discussion of complexity theory. It presents our theory based on the four possible states of such groups. These states are based on the work of Wolfram, namely two types of order, uniform and repetitive, and chaos and complexity depending on the relationship of internal abilities of the group and its environment.
The other part of this website presents a paper completed in 2020 that outlines the application of this same theory to individuals.
